2025: A Year of Connection and Growth with 100 Wishes

100 Wishes is a YWLC social impact programme that works alongside community partners to create meaningful experiences for less privileged women and children in Singapore. Through educational and creative workshops, the programme provides spaces for learning, expression, and connection, supporting beneficiaries by providing them a sense of normalcy during transitional periods in their lives.

In 2025, 100 Wishes continued in partnership with Star Shelter and Young Women’s Christian Association. Between June and December, four events were organised, each designed in close collaboration with our partners and facilitators:

June 2025: YWLC members facilitated a hands-on clay-building session at Star Shelter. The workshop encouraged creativity and self-expression, bringing together seven beneficiaries and six YWLC members in a thoughtful and cosy setting.

August 2025: beneficiaries participated in a sustainability-focused sensory experience at Gardens by the Bay, led by Ho Gui Mei. The programme invited participants to engage with nature in an accessible and reflective way, and concluded with a picnic. Ten beneficiaries and six YWLC members took part in the activity.

November 2025: an anti-scam workshop was hosted by Bamboo Builders at The Working Capitol, with training by Ayrial Moh. The session focused on practical knowledge and awareness, equipping thirteen beneficiaries and nine YWLC members with tools to better recognise and avoid common scams.

December 2025: Concluding the year with the Nutcracker - More Than a Ballet, an inclusive dance performance by Project Dance Arize, a youth empowerment initiative. Through the generosity of Ayrial Moh, five Star Shelter beneficiaries attended the performance and experienced an evening centred on art and shared enjoyment.

We are thankful to our YWLC volunteers, whose continued presence helped create familiarity and trust for the moms and children across the programme, as well as to our partners and trainers who contributed their time and expertise. These collaborations are central to 100 Wishes.

Looking ahead to 2026, we remain focused on strengthening partnerships and expanding opportunities for engagement. We look forward to continuing this work together.

Special thanks to the 100 Wishes Organising Committee (Shi Pei, Sheryl, Shuting, Colleen, Amanda and Kim Yee) for their coordination and commitment throughout the year.
