    This website and the Young Women’s Leadership Connection (“YWLC”) member platforms (including the GlueUp mobile and web application) are administered by YWLC, a Grassroots Organisation under the People’s Association (“PA”), a Government agency.
     

  2. Personal Data We Collect

    “Personal Data” refers to data that can identify an individual directly or indirectly. Examples include your name, contact details, email address, employment and educational information, membership status, and any other information provided during membership registration or participation in YWLC activities.

    Personal data may be collected through:

    • Membership application and onboarding via GlueUp

    • Event registrations and attendance

    • Communications, feedback, and engagement with YWLC activities or platforms
       

  3. Purpose of Collection, Use and Processing

    YWLC collects, uses, and processes your personal data for the following purposes:
     

    • Membership administration, verification, and servicing

    • Event and programme registration, participation and management

    • Communication of YWLC updates, initiatives, news, publications, and marketing information

    • Processing of payment-related matters for membership or event fees

    • Internal reporting, audit, and governance requirements
       

  4. Disclosure and Sharing of Personal Data

    a. YWLC may share your personal data with PA, and with authorised Government agencies where necessary to provide services to you effectively, or where required under law, in accordance with the Public Sector Governance Act (PSGA) 2018.

    b. We will not share your personal data with non-Government entities except where such entities (e.g., platform service providers like GlueUp, payment processors) are authorised or engaged to perform services on behalf of YWLC, and only for the stated purposes, or if explicit consent is obtained.
     

  5. Access, Correction and Withdrawal of Consent
     

    • You may request to access or correct your personal data, or withdraw your consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data at any time.

    • Members may update their personal information directly through the GlueUp app.

    • Withdrawal of consent may affect YWLC’s ability to continue providing you with certain services or membership benefits.
       

  6. Protection of Personal Data

    To safeguard your personal data, all electronic storage and transmission of personal data is secured with appropriate access controls. Where personal data is collected, stored, or processed through the GlueUp platform, it is protected in accordance with GlueUp’s data security and privacy measures, including encryption, access controls, and compliance with applicable data protection standards.
