The two and a half month circuit breaker has given many the opportunity to cook more at home. In collaboration with Nalati SG, YWLC had the privilege to have Chef Kent Lee, Nalati's Executive Brand Chef and former Executive Chef of Michelin-starred restaurant Hakkasan in Mumbai, to do a cook and demo masterclass on 12 June.
The meal for the evening was the highest- voted dish on our social media poll, Pomelo Chicken.
Here are four tips shared by Chef Kent Lee during the session to achieve a Michelin Star Pomelo Chicken Dish:
For sauce plating, you can use the flat side of the spoon or a chopstick to draw across the plate
Pairing white meat with white wine gives your meal a lip smacking taste
Alternative meat choices are: Tenderloin beef for a richer taste or tenderloin chicken for a healthier option
Oil options: Sunflower oil or olive oil (for those with food allergies)
